It is interesting how the non Engineers mangle Technician vs. Engineer titles. To be fair in the UK this is very common. Here is a handy guide: An Engineer has a BEng degree. They focus on the creation of value and new processes/methods/designs A Technician has a trades/apprenticeship qualification and focuses on problem solving using established processes.

That’s more like it, a sensible business class seat unlike the weird reverse seats. They were just horrible.

Lovely interior.....but please make sure you double check the fuselage rivets while you're at it! I am hesitant to fly on a 787 right now because i don't trust Boeing when they say all the aircraft out there are "safe". What is British Airways doing to reassure the public in thos regard?

It's a nice retorfit - but unfortunately - I purposely avoided booking with @British Airways for my upcoming trip as they were only using Boeing Aircraft. Ended up booking with Lufthansa and the A350

This retrofit can’t come soon enough. I flew business class on G-ZBJC around 12 days ago with my family. I feel completely ripped off. It cost £15k for my family of 4 to fly MAA-LHR-MAA (which we do every year) in business class and we found that 3 of our 4 seats were faulty. The seat motors constantly trip due to over current because they’re no longer being properly maintained. To add insult to injury, they stocked only 6 chicken dishes between 37 BC passengers so we had to choose an alternative veg dish which gave 2 of us food poisoning.

10yrs late...better late than never...BA needs to catch up with the competition....
